The EU Bargain
The EU Bargain

personally I'm happy to yield some UK sovereignty for a share of German sovereignty, a bit Cypriot, and some Danish. Some Austrian and some French and Swedish too. I like a bit of Greek sovereignty and Bulgarian and one simply couldn't do without a bit of Spanish. A share of sovereignty in Hungary and Ireland should not be sniffed at or indeed Malta and Estonia. It's nice to have a bit of Czech sovereignty as part of the deal and Belgian too. Dutch sovereignty is highly prized and that's nice to have, as is a bit of Polish. Of course member benefits include some Slovenian, Portuguese and Latvian sovereignty. The deal includes a bit of Italy, Lithuania and Romania for good measure. One must not finish without mentioning our bit of Finish sovereignty or indeed Slovakian. And it might not be huge but some of Luxembourg's sovereignty is to be treasured.
It's called a bargain!
